Permanent Account & Data Deletion

At Your Journey (developed by PTK Studio), you hold complete control over your personal data. In compliance with Google Play Developer Policies and global privacy laws, you may permanently delete your account and all associated personal data at any time.

What is permanently deleted:

Account Credentials: Email address, username, display name, password hash, and active authentication tokens.
All Memories & Notes: All titles, journal notes, dates, categories, moods, and milestone logs.
All Photos & Media: Every memory photo and profile avatar is permanently purged from our Amazon Web Services (AWS S3) storage buckets.
Social Data: All friendships, friend requests, user blocks, and collaborative group memberships.
Groups: Groups owned by you are deleted along with all group memories.

Option 1: Instant Deletion Inside the App (Recommended)

If you have the mobile application installed, you can trigger an immediate, automated deletion:

Open the Your Journey app.
Go to your Profile / Settings screen.
Scroll to the bottom and select Permanently Delete Account.
Confirm your decision. Your account and photos are wiped immediately.

Option 2: Web Deletion Request Form

If you cannot log in or have uninstalled the app, submit your registered account email below to request manual deletion:

Notice: To protect accounts from unauthorized deletion, we may send a verification email to your registered address to confirm your request. Once verified, all records and cloud files are permanently removed within thirty (30) business days.
